Clever! :D That wasn't a misspell. It's clever you made it break the frame. I know you've been doing it a lot but this one exemplifies the idea.

Cheers, this was good fun, but th I have to say the inspiration was in the brief, but it was awesome getting the idea to work on the page.

Cheers, I love getting feedback from gamers that the art may have helped enhance a games moment and flesh out a setting or encounter, I did and still do get a lot out of art work for my D&D campaign, when we get the time to play that is.

Cheers Ben

My gaming group was commenting on how fantastic this picture is just yesterday! I found this by coincidence, but I'd love to pass on the compliment. Great work! :D

No worries! And that's why I like your works! A background with emotion seperate from the focal point, or helping add further fuel to it, is a delight to read into.

I'm kinda dumbfounded that not a single comment so far, (unless I'm blind, which is all well possible. XD) hasn't quoted a particular line from a... shining... thing.

Looks really wicked mate. I love the little details as well, like the soldiers further in the background racing to stop the barbarian, I'm guessing? Those sort of things can tell a great little story on their own, which I'm finding a lot in your works. =)

Many a town watchman has uttered the the fatal words to barbarians parking their mounts in the wrong place: "Hey barbarian, can't you read that sign?"

I think their rage is a manifestation of the frustration of not being able to read....vicious cycle there...

Thus the illiteracy of the barbarians would let them down many times, enabling a true rage when their actual victim was found... eventually... often in a completely different town.
