I am so glad to find the artist of this piece! My Gm selected this image to be my half-orc paladin, Dorin Black Grimshaw. It is truely awe inspiring to see her in colour :)

Huge thanks, it was fun getting the design on her armour right, fancy and graceful, but not too girly and twee

Cheers dude, I was stoked with the axe, that then influence the feel of the rest of the armour.

Cheers dude, I try to keep the armour at least feeling a bit like it would work, we all know it wouldn't but a nod to reality goes along way.

Functionality is always second to style in fantasy art. You've got a very distinct one that works well.

Thanks, I love the crane motifs in oriental culture and design, it was great to get that same feel into a more western suit of armour.

Firstly, that axe is badass.
Also, this may be my favorite illustration of a female hal-forc. She's definitely orc-y without being weirdly hot or disgustingly ugly. Shows some personality too.

Thanks, it was tricky to get the orc heritage without her being the classic brute halk orc, but saying that I didn't want her to be pretty with orc skin tone either. She is definately an half-orc but leans more towards her human heritage.

Ha!!! that is the oldest trick in the book, dazzle them with fancy armour and hit them while they are distracted...and you fell for it.

There's a marked difference between a picture being 'shiny' and a picture being spectacular. You're of the latter here.
