Something a little different, another vista but without the peace and tranquilty of the last piece, but clear skies so I guess that's somethiing.

It is a combination of map and illustration, so while it shows the key features of the landscape and positions of the battlements it is a bit stylised and not all of the detail is to scale with the land forms.

This a campaign map for a source released by Battlefront Miniatures, a WW2 15mm gaming system and minis range.

Stunning work, impressive history aswell, the defense of the monastery by the german"fallschirmjäger's" for example.

Thanks, it was great fun to do this, great departure from fantasy. Worked with the guys at Battlefront to get the key elements of the campaign accurate but still on a stylised map for the game.

Huge thanks:)Was a good challenge to get the historic accuracy and the playability balanced, enjoyed and have done a couple more in the series for Battlefront since then.

The scenery is great and really matches with the historical setting during the battle.
