Owl Bear by BenWootten Owl Bear by BenWootten
Another old school classic from AD&D, makes as much sense now as it did 30 years ago :)

I didn't even know this creature existed (in the metaphorical sense) until about ten minutes ago, and it is a brilliant monster concept! Great interpretation, mate!

Huge thanks, these guys have been a D&D staple monster for about 40 years now, so it was great to get to put my spin on the concept.

I love that species. Despite their sharp claws and beak, they look cuddly and fluffy. Always felt sorry when I had to kill one.

Did you know that the MMORPG Everquest, which does not base on AD&D, has the very same species?

owl bears and kobolds hold a big place i my heart.
a running joke in my campaigns are kobolds rideing some randome animals charging with makeshift lances.
And owlbears, ents and druids talking about tree stuff while the PCs sets fire to the forest.

Ben, I ran across this image during a Google search for something completely unrelated. This may be the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Do you have this in a high-res format? I want one of these in order to frame it.

Were you browse for " Chicken Nugget" or "Guesthouses of pines"? LOL

I do have a hi-res version of this and would be happy to do a print for you, what sort of price range were you thinking so I can look at the print options and give you a good idea of price vs size vs quality.

Cheers Ben
