This is card art done for the Sony Star Wars TCG.

I guess the tip of the day here is "always looks up and behind you". Some would say very specific advice, but useful never the less.

Sith. They're everywhere and just like the holiday balls they see you when you're sleeping and know when you're awake.

the background city in this one rules!
Did you use custom brushes to create those shapes on the right block?
Sweet lighting and form on the green dude, pretty sure he knows what is coming.

I played with spacing and rotation on some of my ordinary brushe, and a bit of texture here and there, oh and the line tool a bit.

I am not sure he does know......

Dynamic lighting and attention to detail. The stern, watchful expression on the male's face saddens me for his true danger is lurking just a few feet away behind him. The run down (or up in coming, it depends on the way you look at it) city in the background, lets the viewer have a feel of the typical frightening and dangerousness of the slums. The man could be on an important mission that includes wandering amongst ruins or he is simply in hiding or other myriad of reasons. Any way it is, this piece delights me in its tale behind the paint. :)

Huge thanks, I am stoked you get so much out of this piece, it is one of my favs. I love the uncertainty to the situation, who has the drop on who?
