Hi there, I just wanted to let folks know that I have limited edition prints of the Dragon's Fury, and Quiet time for sale. The print run is limited to 50. The print quality is great, rich colour reproduction in archival inks and acid free high quality matte photo rag.

There are two sizes of the Dragon piece:

50 x 13 cm ( 19.7 x 5 inches) for $50 + postage
90 x 23 cm  ( 35.4 x 9 inches) for $120 + postage

the Quiet Time piece:

35cm ( 13.8 inches) square for $60 +postage

Hi, I am overwhelmed by the response to the Hobbiton painting I just posted, thankyou all so much for the great feedback. Great to know so many of you out there love the world of Middle earth as much as I do. It was really exciting to get to do this painting and even more excting that the feedback has been so positive.

I will try and answer all of the messages that folks have written but I am slow at this at the best of times, so please be patient.

Hi there every one, I don't make journal entries very often, mainly because my typing is so slow (it has taken three days just to get this far) and because I rarely have anything interesting to say. But today changes that I do have interesting things to say, well one interesting thing, and here it is......

WHITE CLOUD WORLDS!!!!!!! What!!!! No way is it out already, that is so cool!!!! Yes step right up the long awaited book containing 27, count them 27 fantasy and scifi artists from New Zealand squeezed tightly (a little too tightly for my liking, I mean personal space people)between it's pristine covers.
  This is exciting times, designers from Weta Workshop, freelance illustrators, sculptors comic book artists and more rub shoulders in one amazing book, the likes of Greg Broadmore (hairy designer on D9 and of Dr Groadborts), BenStenbeck (of Darkhorse Comics),Jamie Beswarick (sculptor/designer of the Cave troll and much much more), and many more great artists, they even let my good self have a page or two.
  This collection is the brain child of Paul Tobin, friend, artist and pushy bastard, how else do you get 27 artists organised to get their art into one publication, let alone paint a self potrait and write their own text, amazing a tribute to the man's shear bloody mindedness. Well done this Paul this is a monumental piece of work and I for one am immensely proud to be in this book.

I hear you mummuring "that is all well and good but where can I get a copy for myself", well ask no more for following is a list of online shops where it may be found and salivated over and purchased (just in time for Xmas, go on treat yourself) and remember if you do live in Australsia then it can be purchased of most bookstores, also there is a DA page dedicated to the very same title and links to the DA pages of other artists found lurking in the book. There is an interview with myself that can be found on StarshipSofa podcast (ep 106, near the end if you don't want to listen to the whole awesome show), and another interview with paul, myself and others fron the book on the White Cloud Worlds blog. Hi there, this is a huge thanks to all of you that have decided that I am worth watching, not sure about your sanity but thanks It would be great to thank you all personally but I am overwhelmed and just can't get to do it all, I will try. Again thank you all.

Sorry I haven't been responding lately, I have been away for about a month with very limited internet access.
